The aim of the Geo-Kagaku Center is to contribute to the healthy development of Japan’s industry and economy by facilitating soil-related scholarly study and the development of scientific technology through the funding of research.

The Geo-Kagaku Center performs in the following activities.

Ⅰ.Research funding

• [1] Supports of scholarly research and technology development relating to soil stabilization
• [2] Supports of social science research that relates to soil
• [3] Supports the scholarly conferences, research symposiums, and seminars

Ⅱ.Lectures and symposiums

• [1] Holds scholar lectures, symposiums, and other events dealing with soil stabilization or soil-related disaster prevention technology

Ⅲ.Scholarships of financial support

• [1] Financial support for young scientists or engineers working in soil-related fields and for students seeking to participate in projects, work, or scholarly research in soil-related fields.

Ⅳ.Other related activities
